I was looking into it yesterday. I bought my domain name Legendpreneur.com a few weeks ago and didn't know whether to change to the custom domain or stay with Substack's default. Because of your post, I think I'll wait until I have a complete identity on Substack. I'm still building my personal brand and definitely looking to grow out and own the brand. So I'll save your article for further insights when I'm ready.

Thank you so much for this post. It is very well explained.

Check back here in the coming days, a slate of new short-form stories will be dropped. They are as diverse and interesting as ever :

An Olympic frame of mind - read about a professional ice-skating couple that were actual clients of mine back in the day when they briefly lived in the Richmond, Virginia area. They medaled in the Winter Olympics many years ago.

He sees it all - a heartfelt review of an excellent concert my wife and I recently went to down in Raleigh, North Carolina. We went to see opera singer Andrea Bocelli on his world tour. I’ve always loved blind people - find out why in this special story.

The mighty road - memories traveling on the scenic Pennsylvania Turnpike in western Pennsylvania. I’ll share family stories from over the decades.

The golf course - about a storied foursome that continues to regularly play their beloved game of golf. The only problem is they all passed away decades ago. My ghost stories will haunt you as well as entertain you.

Inventing Combos - a humorous recollection about one of my little sisters. She may or may not have invented that yummy snack treat, Combos.

All the right players - series debrief. This last installment will unpack some of the real events and real people at a firm that I worked at years ago. Who gets fired in this last installment ? You’ll have to read about what happened to me on the exit at this firm.

Abe & Andy, (vol. 12) - A fictional pairing of President Abraham Lincoln and business mogul Andrew Carnegie. It didn’t end at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C. in April of 1865. A warm friendship that changes America for decades, up to the present day. The constant excitement, the walk-on characters of other major historical figures, and the humor will keep you coming back for more.
